ResortQuest Realtors honored with Five Star awards
ResortQuest Real Estate announced this week that six of its agents were recipients of Five Star Professional and Delaware Today’s Five Star awards. The annual Five Star awards go to real estate agents rated highest in overall satisfaction by clients, peers and industry experts. Fewer than 7 percent of the 4,000 Delaware-area residents holding real estate licenses were selected for the honor this year.
This year’s winners included Tammy Hadder from the firm’s Marketplace at Sea Colony office; Bob Jennings from the Bethany Beach office; Pat Eggers from the West Fenwick location; Steve Alexander from the Edgewater/Sea Colony location; and Anna Meiklejohn and Colleen Windrow, both from the Marketplace at Sea Colony location, as well. Hadder, Meiklejohn, Jennings, Windrow and Eggers have won the award in previous years.
“We are very much honored to have six of our agents selected for this award,” said Brigit Taylor, managing broker of ResortQuest. “They consistently strive for excellence in customer service and aim to make the listing and selling process as stress-free as possible for our customers and clients.”
Top producers at ResortQuest Real Estate each year, both Hadder and Meiklejohn of the Marketplace at Sea Colony office offer more than 50 years of real estate experience combined. Together they have participated in more than 763 sales, with volume totaling more than $250 million.
A native of Sussex County, Jennings has been a licensed real estate agent since 1976 and has consistently earned top producer status. Jennings specializes in the listing and sale of beach and waterfront resort condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes in the Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island area, as well as real estate in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach.
With more than 13 years of experience in resort real estate, Windrow has consistently received top producer awards since 2001. She specializes in listing and selling homes in the Bethany Beach resort area, such as The Village at Bear Trap Dunes, Bayside and Sea Colony.
Alexander, a licensed real estate agent since 1997, continues to be the top producer for the company and within the industry in Delaware, with more than $60 million in sales. His clients continuously rank him in the highest percentages in customer service, and he is recognized annually as a recipient of numerous sales and listing awards.
A local Realtor since 2004, Eggers specializes in the southeast Sussex County area, from Millsboro to the beaches. He said customer satisfaction is always his topmost priority and that he believes it takes hard work and great communication to succeed in today’s market.
Five Star Professional conducted research to determine the real estate agents in the Delaware area who rated highest in overall satisfaction. Surveys were sent to Delaware-area residents who recently purchased a home for more than $150,000 from April to December 2012.
Respondents were asked to evaluate real estate agents they knew through personal experience and to evaluate them on nine criteria. Both negative and positive evaluations were included in the scoring. The research methodology allows only 7 percent or fewer agents in a given market to quality for a Five Star award.
