NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY the Board of Adjustment of the Town of Ocean View that a public hearing will be held on Application V-383, submitted by Mr. Timothy R. Tribbitt on behalf of the property owner Margaret Ann Jacobs Trust.  The property owner is requesting a variance from Article V, §140-28 of the Town Code in order to maintain an existing dwelling unit that projects into the required 25’ front yard setback. The property owner also requests a variance from Article V, §140-33 in order to construct steps with a covered roof which would project into the required 25’ setback for a side lot line abutting a street on property zoned R-1 Single-Family Residential located at 21 Betts Avenue (PIDN: 173.000 / Sussex CTM# 134-12.00-564.00).

The hearing will be held at the Town Hall located at 32 West Avenue beginning at 7 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter on Thursday, March 21, 2019.  All interested parties are welcome to attend and present their views. If unable to attend the public hearing, written comments will be accepted but must be received prior to the hearing.


The appropriate material may be examined by interested parties on the second floor of the Wallace A.
