Frank A. ‘Jack’ Robinson, 88

Frank A. “Jack” Robinson, 88, passed away on Dec. 16, 2019, in the care of Atlantic Shores Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Millsboro, Del. He was born on June 5, 1931, to the late George E. Robinson and Ethel Timmons Robinson in Milford, Del.

He married his wife, Mildred, in 1949. Over the years, he worked at Mitchell’s Hatchery as a feed mill operator, later working and retiring from work as a records custodian for M&T Bank. He loved walking, gardening, tending flowers and vegetables and selling mums. He and his wife “put up” pepper relish and pickled beets. Robinson was a quiet, yet strong man, who was devoted to his family. If his son or grandkids needed anything, he would get it.

Robinson was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mildred; and his sister, Betty Morris. He is survived by his son, Roger Hearn and his wife, Jacquelyn, of Delmar, Del.; three grandchildren, Darren Hearn and his wife, Sheri, Brian Hearn Sr. and his wife, Krista, and Mathew Hearn; his great-grandchildren, Brian Hearn Jr., Erika Hearn, Alexis Hearn, Kirra Hearn, and Kevin Hearn; a niece, Gail Carmean; and a nephew, Jim Robinson.

A funeral service was to be held Dec. 23, 2019, at Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro, Del., officiated by the Evangelist Barry Townsend. Interment followed at St. George’s U.M.
